A passionate leader, driven programmer, and a team player
Hello, there!
My name is Ana and I am a second year computer science student at Western Univeristy in London, Ontario, Canada. Born and raised in Ottawa, I am passionate about leadership, technology, and business.
Education
I attended high school at Lisgar Collegiate Institute in Ottawa, where I was the Student Body President and the president and founder of Girls Who Code.
I am now continuing my studies in Computer Science at the University of Western Ontario, with an Advanced Entrance Opportunity for the Honours in Business Administration at the IVEY School of Business. I intend to graduate in June of 2026 with a double degree: An honours Specialization in Computer Science and an Honours in Business Administration from IVEY. I have a very entrepreneurial mind, and I thrive where logical thinking from programming and creative, strategic thinking from business collide.
Projects & Experience
Throughout high school and university, I have been both a leader and a participant on numerous tech-related projects. Such projects were associated with organizations including Technovation, Girls Who Code, QubitbyQubit, Western Women in Stem, hackitbetter, myFoodLocker, sheHacks+, and Western Women in Tech.
This summer, I also had my first internship at Qlik as a front-end developer working in the Ottawa office.
